Permanently Delete Messages On Facebook
Step 1. Click the "Messages" symbol on your Facebook homepage. The Messages icon is located in the leading left edge and appears like two tiny overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the conversation including the message or messages you intend to erase. If it is not detailed on the initial Messages pop-up window, click "See All" to see every one of your personal messages. Click the discussion on that checklist containing the message you intend to erase.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" button and after that click "Delete Messages" on the Actions drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes situated alongside the messages you wish to remove.
Click "Delete" and afterwards click "Delete Messages" to verify that you wish to erase the picked messages.
Suggestion
To erase a whole discussion rather than individual messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions menu in the third action.
Warning
Erasing a private message in your Messages inbox does not erase it from the inbox of your discussion partner.
